LAURYN HILL TO STORM LAGOS FOR MAYDAY LIVE CONCERT

American Singer/Songwriter, Lauryn Hill, is set to arrive in Nigeria on May 1, 2015, for a concert tagged, MayDay Live.

The singer will headline the event, which is being organised by X Media and scheduled to take place at the Eko Hotels and Suites.

The Multiple Grammy Award winner, better known for her wave making album titled The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, will be performing alongside top Nigerian and international acts.

According to Chuma Ajufor, CEO of X-Media Nigeria, the event is aimed at celebrating the annual Workers’ Day event in Nigeria in a unique way.

He says, “The show will create an avenue for major firms to appreciate their staff members and by bringing them together to celebrate work ethics. It is basically a night of music, laughter and networking”.

Hill will be visiting Nigeria for the first time. During the concert she will perform some of her hit songs alongside a 20-man live band.
